Booking Conditions

Accommodation	Smiddy Cottage is hired is strictly on the basis that the accommodation is for holiday use only and that no right to remain in the accomodation exists for the hirer or any person allowed into the property by him. The hirer will be liable for any costs incurred as a result of a delayed departure.
Maximum Occupancy	The maximum occupancy of Smiddy Cottage is 6 adults plus 1 child in cot.
Deposit	A deposit of 20% of the total should be sent in with the booking form.
Christmas/New Year	When booking these periods, 50% deposit is required when booking with the remainder payable 4 weeks before arrival.
Cancellation	In the event of cancellation the hirer must advise us immediately. Once monies have been paid this is forfeited should the holiday be cancelled.
Cleanliness & damage	The hirer is expected to leave the accomodation as found on arrival, and to pay for any losses or breakages.
Log Burning Stove	The log burning stove by nature wil become very hot when in use. The hirer is responsible for the safe use of the appliance.
Non-availability of the property	If for any reason beyond the Owner's control the property is not available on the date booked, all rents and charges paid in advance by the hirers will be refunded in full, but the hirers shall have no further claim against the owners.
